New Records are Being set by the Automotive Industry

Mexico : Although the sale of new-vehicles in the domestic market shrank in the first half of the year, exports and production indicated otherwise.
A rise of 12.5% in light weight production was observed between January and June in comparison to the previous year. Exports escalated around 14% as per the reports from the Mexican Automotive Industry Association.
Mexican assembly lines produced 1.88 million vehicles setting a new record in production. June 2017 showed a rise by 4.9% as compared to June 2016. Exports this June escalated by 12%.
The six-month period accounted for exports worth 1.32 million units.
This growth is amidst the decline in the sales of the principal export market. Sales of vehicles which were Mexican-made rose by 15.9% i.e. 215,235 vehicles in the United States. This figure manifests 14.7% of light vehicles which were sold.
A fall of 2.2% was reported by Ward Automotive in light-vehicle sales in the first half of the year. These were statistics for the United States of America.
Considering the automotive production of Mexico goes at the same speed, 2017 will be a year to remember. Studying the trend we learn numbers of production could go as much as 3.7 million vehicles which was 3.46 million the previous year.
